We serve in Gateway Cities with our mission partner, Global Gates. Global Gates is an evangelical missions organization mobilizing prayer and missionaries for the most unreached people group communities living in North America. They take a creative approach to engaging the world’s most unevangelized people groups by engaging these groups who have come to global gateway cities in North America. When these groups in North America see gospel transformation, Global Gates seeks to equip them to reach their communities around the world.
Washington, DC
In Washington, DC, we work with Global Gates to help share the gospel with people from around the world in this important gateway city. In particular, this trip focuses on engaging Muslims from an unreached people group in the Virginia area. In the mornings, the team will receive training in Islam as well as how to effectively and naturally engage Muslims in gospel conversations. Each afternoon, the team will have opportunities to go out and practice what they just learned and prayerfully enter into conversations with interested people. The team will also have the chance to visit Muslim-owned businesses and eat at culturally relevant restaurants.
HOUSTON, TX
This will be our first year in Houston, TX! We work with Global Gates to help share the gospel with people from around the world in this important gateway city. In particular, this trip focuses on engaging Hindus from India, among others. In the mornings, the team will receive training in Hinduism as well as how to effectively and naturally engage people in gospel conversations. Each afternoon, the team will have opportunities to go into the city, practice what they just learned, and prayerfully enter into conversations with interested people. The team will also enjoy some free time touring Houston!
