The team is back! After a great week with our mission partner, Kidz Konnect 4 Jesus (KK4J), the team returned from Belize on Friday. It was an amazing trip where our families served directly in a school with kids and teachers for the week. We’re already looking forward to another trip in 2025!
During this trip, we worked at the school in Maya Center Village. We walked the kids through VBS and J316 Soccer Camp, where we shared the love of Jesus and clearly articulated the gospel to the kids and teachers alike. We are grateful for your prayers for the team and want to share some stories from the trip!
MAYA CENTER VBS
Our team ran a three-day VBS with all the kids who attend the school in Maya Center Village. The VBS, which took inspiration from this year’s Scuba theme, included a Bible story, craft, and game time each day. It reinforced to the kids that God is a friend they can trust.
J316 Soccer Camp
Butch Morely with J316 Ministries was part of the Belize team and helped lead a three-day soccer camp with the kids as one of the VBS rotations. Through this J316 Soccer Camp, the kids could learn some soccer skills, have a lot of fun, and hear the gospel clearly communicated. It was hot, but the team and the kids all did great!
FAMILY FUN DAY
The whole team did an amazing job in hot temperatures, so we visited one of the islands for a family fun day. This is an important part of team building, decompressing, and letting the kids have fun! The team was able to go hand fishing, snorkeling, and have fun on the beach.
